Hi Everyone: Don't know where to start but from reading all the posts for the last two years I know all of you get right to the point very quickly. So I will leave out most of what has lead me to this post. I am now two years into being diagnosed with chronic AF and have tried conversion without drugs once and am currently on coumadin,cartia and my synthroid. I am at a point where I feel I need to either try cardioversion with assistance of a drug or go full throttle into the maze procedure. My cardiologist suggests just living with my AF. Please let me know if some of you if you had to do it over again would you just go for it or try alternatives first. I am really not wanting to put those drugs in my system, but my Dr. feels the maze is very radical and not a necessary option for my condition. Any help you can send my way would be very much appreciated. Thank you all and a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. You have all been a big part of my life these last two years even though I have been very silent until now.
