Its been over a year and a half since I had the MAZE at Mayo in Rochester. My EP felt an ablation would not work in my case, yes I have a scar, but now I take a baby asprin and none of the nasty drugs that drag you down, would I do it again yes in a heart beat. My only complaint is that I didnt know about it, to do it sooner. It is your choice research and do what is right for you. Youve been reading this forum for the last two years you are a step ahead of where I was. The best of luck on what ever you do.
