Can't join the Maze Club

Dec.20, I checked in to Baptist Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock, AR. expecting to have the naze procedure done along with mytal valve replacement and 1 by-pass to the back side of the heart. (Had previsiouely had a quad by-pass 10 years ago and all had clogged up.)
Elimintation of atrial fibrillation and stopping the valve from leaking so I could back to work was the reason I needed this operation.
After the operation and when I was making any sense at all. I was told The surgeon had done the single by-pass and had repaired the valve and added a ring to close off the leakage, BUT did not do the the Maze procedure. It was going to be his FIRST.
No one was able to tell me definitely why he didn't do the procedure and he left on VACATION emediately after my operation that Friday. His partners and the Cardiologist had no answers.
I was released Dec. 24, and I still have atrial fibrillation and now having to wait to see what's next. I don't know when he is going to return from vacation. I'm real anxious and depressed about maybe having to have more surgery AND pay more money.
ANYONE have any ideas?
