6 Months & More Afib

About 6 months ago Dr. Brown performed my maze procedure at OSU in Columbus. Since then things have gone well but about 3 weeks ago I noticed some abnormal heart bearts. When I talked with my local cardiologist he diagnosed PACs. I wore a monitor for 24 hours and during that time my heart seemed to go back to normal. Today I went back to the cardiologist for an echo cardiogram and the PACs were back worse than ever. They told me that the halter monitor indicated episodes of afib. My problem is that none of the cardilogists here in Iowa, where I live, are familiar with the maze procedure and cannot say if this is part of the healing process or an indication that additional work is needed. I left messages at OSU but I wonder if any of you alumni been through this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
