Post Surgery Question

At long last my mitral valve repair and MAZE is scheduled. I will have the procedure at the Owens
Heart Center at Mission St. Joseph Hospital in Asheville, NC. The surgeon is Dr. Harry Burton. I
know that all of my questions will be answered as I get closer to surgery, but I have two that I would
appreciate some shared info on.
Baring complications are you on a vent when you wakeup in recovery?
Do you have a chest tube left in after the surgery?
