I would like to know how I can find out from Doctors at Cleveland Clinic what type of procedure would be best for me. Is there anyway to find out except through the second opinion process they have setup for offsite evaluations? Or is a trip necessary for determing that issue? This business of having to make two trips especially when one is so debilitated is hard to swallow.
I don't need a second opinion. I already know from present and past doctors what's wrong, I need to know what procedure is best so I can get past this issue of wondering which route to pursue. I don't want to waste time having ablations performed and then have to eventually have maze surgery, neither do I want to have maze surgery when pva would have done just as well and accomplised what I want accomplished and that is to be free of this crap.Did all of you who have had procedures performed at CC had to first travel to Cleveland for evaluations or is there other options available?
I have read where some of you went to Cleveland and in three or four days you were "on the table" having a procedure performed. I am confused as to whether these same people were required to make a trip there first prior to scheduling a procedure six or seven months in the future.
I talked to a lady at CC about two weeks ago about the second opinion thing, and it sounds like a waste of money and time to me. Maybe I'm wrong.
Some of you that have been there, done that, please respond.
and the beat goes or and on and on and on....even though it's erratic, just thankful it's still beating.
