I understand having a raw nerve. I'm sure you wish you had those years that you felt so crummy, added to the good years of being Afib free, through the Maze.

Do you remember me telling you that after I had been through one failed EP attempt, and five/six cardiologist, two more EP's, one at prestigious Wash U in St.Louis where Dr.Cox refined his Maze...even Cardiologist and EP's at Mayo Clinic....I just cried, and gritted my teeth when I said "I will NEVER go to another of these b*^#!~$d's again, unless it's on a stretcher!" I'm sure Dave F. has a few frustrations with EP's and Maze surgeons right now too.

But the growing pains of perfecting the cure, improved technology and all makes this a better time, and more choices for people. It's logical that other Heart Centers, are learning, and improving their techniques, in order to provide cutting edge health services in their own communities.

CC doctors are always traveling, sharing their talents, and having other physicians observe them in Cleveland, in order to improve everyones game.

You "founders" of the Maze board have given of yourselves to so many of us, and made it easier to make our decisions. I'm sure it was harder on you, when you had to fight your way through...to your Maze Cure.
Peace,
Sarah
