Hello everyone,
I'm a 40 year old male and underwent the full blown MAZE procedure on 10/22/02. Everything with my heart is great which I am so thankful for. The only problem I am having now is extreme depression. After the surgery my doctors told me over and over to not get depressed, i'm not sure they were expecting it or what. I have the most loving and supporting wife any man could have. Also the greatest family so I don't know why I'm feeling this. I visited my doctor's office on 11/01/02 and their words were to get over it, it will pass! I can't get over it if I don't know what it is causing it. Anyway, my question is this: Have any of you guys gone through this and if so what did you do for it? Any reply would be great! Thanks!
