Roger,
We are all constituted a little differently chemically speaking. What will set off a bout of depression for you may not for someone else, and vice versa. If you are at the present time clinically depressed see a doctor experienced in treating this problem.

Clinical depression needs to be treated with the right pharmaceutical prescription. The mind and body responds very effectively with the right treatment.

One way to test whether it is just the blues "to get over" or clinical depression is to follow Ed's excellent suggestion to make a list of trips and events to participate in that you think would be fun. (Infact, this would be great advice and therapy for all).

See if the blues start to fade and you begin to feel a little joy again. If not see the approriate doctor and get treatment. In most likely will not require long term treatment to get you feeling better. Best wishes to you.
