Worried in NC

This is John Brown from Shelby, NC. I'm going to have the MAZE Procedure in Asheville, NC on June 19th. Dr. Harry Burton is the surgeon. I've been in AFIB for 3 years. I'm tired of taking pills and still having no breath. All of the other doctors I've been dealing with seem skeptical of the MAZE Procedure. Has anyone run into that situation where other doctors seem against the MAZE? Does anyone know of anybody that has had any real problems following the MAZE Procedure?
