MAZE complications

Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences on this board! I am currently researching/contemplating the MAZE procedure. My Cardiologist is very against it. (No big suprise there!) However, I am being my own 'self advocate' and will hopefully hear from the doc. shortly.
My question for all of you is: Specifically, what problems have you experienced (complications, anything negative) due to your MAZE surgery.

I have been reading many posts, but wanted to specifically ask. Also, are there any women out there who have had this procedure?
