Terry, thanks for your post of your history with the Maze. Also thanks for the information on your sister. I think it would be a bit unusual for twins to be undergoing the same procedure. I am glad you are both doing good now.
I also had a fast heart rate after surgery, and my surgeon told me not to worry that I was anemic and it would come down as by blood was built up. He said that it was pretty much standard to be anemic after open heart surgery. He put me on a high iron supplement and it soon worked. I have been AF free for almost 3 years.
