Dear All:
Hi everyone, I have continued to read the board and was wandering if I could ask some feedback on sleeping comfortably after surgery. I am into my fifth week, but I wake up many times and find sleeping still to be difficult because I am uncomfortable so I wake up a lot, either because I move or I need to move. Sometimes I feel tired in the morning because of this and if I take an hour nap in the afternoon, it seems okay; it just seems like all night is too long for my body to want to be horizontal. During the day I just have a mild discomfort and I take to Tylenol at bedtime. Trying to get off medicines except for coumadin of course. Does it take this long for most of you or did you find sleeping at night a lot easier?
Other than that, I am doing well, I walk a mile or more each day and seem to be healing well. I don't go back to my doctor for a month!
