Booze and caffeine after maze

I had a mitral valve repair and a maze on 11/6/02 at Abington Hospital in Pennsyvania. The surgeon was Addonozio. Things went well. I've been in sinus since the operation, but still on coumadin because my cardiologist said there is still a risk of clots until the scar tissue forms from the maze. I never thought I had a lot of symptoms before the operation, but I'm certain they were there. Since the maze is supposed to stop the electrical waves to the atrium, would booze or caffeine have the same bad effect on heart rhythm.
