As an aside to everyone, I just wrote to my insurance company to thank them for their approval of the maze and their allowing me to travel to CC for the procedure. I know that they weren't doing anything they didn't have to do but it allowed me to tell them about the success of the procedure which will hopefully make it easier for others to get approvals. I noted that with me off drugs and out of the doctor's office, they and I would have significant savings over the next couple of years. The maze pays for itself is what I say. I sent the letter directly to the president of Blue Shield of California.
