Good morning William,

I want to wish you all the best. My maze changed how I live my life. A normal lifestyle is taken for granted by so many of us. It is a pleasure to live like this again.

Ed Wehan made an excellent point on insurance. I have Aetna US Healthcare which really takes some lumps here in New Jersey but for me they were super. Not only did they allow the surgery but also paid travel expenses for my wife and I....... THAT'S RIGHT, tavel expenses were covered. I checked into my coverage and found that if my surgery took me out of my geographical area they would cover air fare and lodging for me and one travel companion. Food was not covered. Still, it saved me nearly $3,000. My point is this....... It doesn't hurt to inquire but do it with due diligence. My company's human resource people were useless. Contact your insurance company's account exec directly.

Again, good luck and God's speed.

Tom
