Dear Jimmy, Carl and Henry: Please for all of us still thinking and considering the Maze procedure, please put your doctor's name, city and state in your posts so we can put all of this together for geographical areas where we live. This will help us from reading back to all the past postings. I am still hanging in here with my chronic afib. I am 48 years old with two children a daughter 22 and a son 19, and I worry every day that my heart may finally give out from this steady quiver and I will not live to see my grandchildren. My cardiologist still wants me to try another cardioversion with amidrone. But from all I have read this is just a temporary fix that leads from one temporary fix to another. It is reassuring to see that there is a highly recommended doctor in Utah that I can give his name to my cardiologist. Please all you successful mazers keep us all up to date on your progress, this helps so much in our decision making. God be with all of you.
