TC. I am now about 15 months and I consider myself cured of AFib. Whatever I choose to do physically, I can do it whether it's running a very long distance, backpacking, or playing really hard tennis. Also, throw in a glass of wine. Having said this, I will tell you that I have PAC's. I did not have them before surgery but I have them now and it often happens when laying down on my back or sides. A little movement, maybe a cough or something and I can relieve the symptoms. When I run, I never feel them. They are benign as far as I know and I choose to live with them. I don't want medicine and I won't use it. Also, every now and then, my heart rate will kick up but with a cough or something, back down it goes. I accept these as I can do far more than I ever could with AFib. They are minor annoyances that do not affect my ability to do far more than most individuals my age.

Good luck to you.
