Yes, I also agree, you are rushing it. I was reminded by re-reading the posts on this board that many have undergone your same symptoms post maze. I had my maze August 13, 2001, and experienced A fib at about one month postop., but the episodes continue to be fewer and farther apart and much less severe. I have been free of A fib for a month now. I also was anemic, but with iron supplementation my hemoglobin has gone from 8 (postop.) to currently 11. I have also experienced fatigue but continue to slowly improve. Give it time, as I have been encouraged to do so. Six months is a minimum. It takes time for the scars to heal so that they can eventually do their job of blocking the impulses.
