Dr. Appointment

I have an appointment at Texas Heart Inst. (Houston) in Sept. to discuss Maze with Dr.'s there. Been having A-Fib. for about a yr. I really have found this board informative. I am not sure if canidate for Maze or not. The local EP offers pacemaker as I have had problems taking the meds. due to slow heart rate. Have tried Atenolol, Cardizem, Rythmol, Zestril. All have caused problesm from slow heart rate to causing A-Fib or flutter within about 7 hrs. Any questions I need to ask the physicans would be appreciated.
I get the impression that the members here that have had the Maze procedure are positive about the results.
Again any advise or comments would be appreciated.
