I would agree with John's comment of, If the quality of your life has not been significantly diminished you would not want to consider MAZE surgery.
From not being informed and not wanting surgery, I put off the maze for 5 years after my cardiologist suggested it. I did have the maze in April 98, and it was much easier than I expected, and a complete cure. From the knowledge I now have, and if I were in the same condition that I was, I would do it again without putting it off.
I don't think anyone on the board is trying to sell the maze, but most are very high on the end results.
