Now I just have to SOUND convincing when I talk to my body about this invasion. Even though I have been convinced that medically this is the thing I need to do, it is still so hard when I feel terrific. The flecainide I began in early December has actually worked and I am in normal sinus rhythm for the first time in about four months. It is great, believe me. I want to achieve this same result without all of the goofy drugs, so that is motivation. On the one hand, I am SO glad that I feel great, but on the other, if I felt tired and breathless like I did just a month ago it would be easier to look upon the surgery as making me FEEL better. The valve issue is the more pressing medical issue but kind of abstract since I feel really good.
