I am considering a procedure for a.f.I have been on coumaden and tykison for about 2 years and am in a.f. about 40 per cent of the time. Does not seem to affect any of my activites..just an aggravation ..and concerned about being on coumaden long term with possible bleeding problems etc.The procedure reccomended to me by Chitwood in Greenville N.C. is with the camera (not the sternotomy) using crio. and a couple of hours on the pump. Has anyone had a similar procedure that can give me info on how it was ...recovery time . ...problems....sucess..et.?? Thank you.
