Jack,
If you ONLY have Lone AF, then I would go for the PVI procedure. Dr. Marcus Wharton at Medical Univ of South Carolina in Charleston might help you with your decision. I was in AF 80% of the time and had an ablation(PVI) at the CCF almost 7 weeks ago and have been AF free for almost two weeks now.
