I am anxious to see any replies to your posting. I had the maze by Dr.Cox 8/99 and i am still in afib. I went back to Georgetown University 2/00, for a pulmonary vein ablation and that didn't work. I have no idea how long this is suppose to take to heal for you, but where did i hear 3-6 months? Jack, what do you think? I don't have racing since i had a a/v node ablation and pacemaker put in 11/93. Did you say you have a pacer? Email me at home if you'd like. I would love to hear you get past this. Is the racing harder on your breathing then the constant afib you had before? How long and often does this happen?
