Bill: I read with great interest Chauncey's resignation. Most interesting to me were your comments on Dr. Tchou's work and research on ablating the electrical impulse at it's origin instead of ablating them in the pathways. I have already been turned down for the maze procedure by an EP in Denver. His reason being that I have had 2 prior bypass surgeries leaving much in the way of scar tissue and of course the problems that the 4 remaining grafts would pose in such a surgery as this. My cardiologist feels that an ablation is the only way for me to get relief from my A Fib; however feels very strongly that ablation is still in it's infancy and therefore not appropriate for me at this time either. Now I hear of Dr. Tchou and his very exciting work at CC. Do you know how I might get additional information or an update on how Dr. Tchou's work is progressing? Thanks ever so much for sharing this very exciting news with all of us. Whether it ever happens or is even appropriate for my situation, it is still progress in the search for a cure of AF. Thanks again. I hope to hear from you at your convenience. Bob Wilczek, Colorado
