Bob: The comments made by Dr. Tchou were a general response to my querry about the progress of fib ablation in general. Since my son was dealing with flutter ablation (right atrium where 80% of flutter resides) I didn't press him further. My impression was that his efforts are preliminary only.
But why not go to the horses mouth by having your cardiologist call Dr. Tchou for a consult and deal with your case specifically. I found Dr. Tchou to be the best EP I've ever been exposed to and a really nice individual as well. You can call his office at 216/444-6792 or fax 216/444-3595.
