John, thanks for the information, it is much appreciated. Do you happen to know whether "coated" applies to aspirin that is supposed to disolve in the intestine rather than the stomach, or to aspirin that is labeled as "lightly coated" so that it is easier to swallow? Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure what "lightly coated" aspirin is supposed to do, but it seems all the brands I have come across are labeled that way...
