Hi Tim,
Well if that experience didn't flip you into A-fib then I suspect nothing will! Thank God you and your crew landed unscathed.BTW,my husband works for American Airlines out of Chicago.FYI for everyone I am still having some arrhythmia's a new one which I never had before,A-flutter. I am at the 6 week mark and back on the Sotolol. I am praying that it is just going to take a little longer for me to become one of you,in perfect sinus rhythm. I have even told the Dr that if he had my heart rhythm for just one week he would understand much better how debilitating this condition truly is. I only have short runs, but when it's happening over and over again in a 3 hr period your wiped out. Please know that this is not meant to scare anyone considering and Ablation/Maze it's just reality, the ablation procedure was supposed to work on someone like me 42yrs, healthy, nothing structurally wrong with my heart, the perfect candidate and it turns out I'm an electrical nightmare. This is so hard when you have small children, for everytime I look at Andrew I wonder if I'll be around to see him become the wonderful man his father is.It's unfortunate but ALL Hospitals go by statistic's, and God help you if you don't fall in the % that's helped. I truly believe that this is going to be the way I have to live the rest of my life, for I fall into the 20%, with multiple electrical problems to boot, so I've been told, now AFTER the ablation. Thanks to this board to vent,I feel so fortunate to have found it and meet some great people that have called and E-mailed me personally. "For to walk in someone else's shoe you truly understand"Thanks again,Allie
