Dr Natale tried using a cryo tip, but the stenosis rates were very high, so I believe he discontinued its use. I don't know if he used the same cryo tip you are referring.
When I went to Cleveland for evaluation, they had me setup for a Maze the same week which surprised me. You might want to make it clear to them that you want to be evaluated for both a Maze and PVI, so they don't schedule you for surgery at the end of your pre-op testing. In my case, they decided I wasn't a candidate for the Maze yet, so I wound up going with a PVI which turned out great. FYI - to get a PVI from Dr Natale might require waiting 6 months for an opening.
