MAZE & Mitral Valve job Monday

WOW! I just found this website! I have a leaky Mitral Valve and Afib. I came out here to the Cleveland Clinic from just north of NYC, based on the reputation of CC. My cardiologist agreed. Upon examination by one of CC's staff cardiologists, Dr. Jaber, it was recommended to take care of the Afib at the same time as the Mitral Valve repair/replacement (both leaflets are involved) with the MAZE procedure. Dr Sabik is going to do the valve job, but it is unclear who will do the MAZE. I have a 3pm meeting with Dr. Sabik, at which time I assumne, I will find out.

It is 12:00 noon right now, I'll check my email and this board again before I go to the meeting, if anyone would care to give me some guidance.

Wish I knew about this place a couple of weeks ago. Maze procedure was never even discussed at my cardiologist back in Suffern, NY
