EP in CC

My cardiologist wants me to do EP study because he wants to exclude that my Afib is caused by some other arrithmia like SVT. He says that it is well known fact.
If this is not the case then I have the other choices including Maze Procedure. However my cardiologist told me that if he had been on my place he would not have taken the procedure because of the risk. But he admited that he did not know what it means to walk in my shoes. Also he said that drug therapy pozesing the risk of side effects and even sudden death. So choose what is better and from my point of view I would take the risk and go for Maze.
Also we decided that CC is a good thing to go for EP study. The only problem I have right now is my insurance company. When I called them for EP study approval and the did not know what it was ???? Damn it are this representatives ever know anithing (No offens for any representatives among this sides). They needed
my cardiologist to call and explain them what EP was.

Also I want to ask may be unussual question.
Did anybody try some alternative aproches to treat the Afib. I mean not traditional medicine. You know there are many different ways. I even heard something about urinotherapy o-o-o-o-o-oh.
