Hi Bill. I think if you look back through the postings or even the success stories that are listed above, you will find that many of us endured some AFib or Flutter following our maze. Although the docs say that this happens 37% of the time, I think it is much higher. Having said that, most of us revert to NSR after the incisions have healed. My heart returned to permanent NSR the 7th week after surgery. As you may know, the incisions create the scars that prevent the AFib from causing the havoc that it does. Good for you on your biking and keep it up. I continued to run even during the weeks right after surgery. If you have any other questions, just ask.
