From the little I know about this procedure, it appears to be only for Atrial Fibrillation. Does anyone know if it can be used to treat Multi-Focal Atrial Tachycardia (MFAT)? I have MFAT combined with a dilated cardiomyopathy. The docs think the cardiomyopathy may be cause my the MFAT. I am currently on rythmol but my heart rate is still over 100 and my ejection fraction is 15-20%. If my heart rate doesn't improve over the next few weeks, the docs want to do a AV Nodal ablation and a pacemaker ... anything to control the tachycardia in the hope of arresting the cardiomyopathy.
