Bruce, I have no answers for you as I am no expert in heart problems and you seem to have a fairly complicated situation. I do know that if I were you and the ability to do so existed, I would go to one of the best heart centers in the country even if I had to fly there. I went from the West Coast to Cleveland for my maze procedure but there are many other fine institutions in our country. I certainly would want to know a lot more before I had an AV Node ablation. I also know that the staff and doctors at hospitals like Cleveland are much more helpful and accessible than many people think. Get the best advice that you can. Please let us know what you do.
