I'm glad that you answered...I had been thinking of you...Hope you are able to get the ablation soon and that it takes care of the A-fib once and for all....
I'm doing better myself..I still get a few extra beats every few days or so..I'm on the atenolol once a day..Don't like taking it because it seems to make me really tired.. But for now I'm taking it everyday..I do have an appointment with a heart doctor Oct 1st....I will discuss with him if I can quit taking the atenolol and only take it when I need it or if I have to take it all the time........ I have not seen this doctor in 4 years but he is the doctor that found out about Dr. Cox and got my set up for the MAZE..Then the heart doctor was out of work for a couple years because of back problems..BUT he is back in practice limited hours......I'm looking forward to seeing him and telling him what a blessing the MAZE has been for me..But also looking forward to discussing the spell I had a month ago and these extra heartbeats sometimes......Also talk to a doctor that really knows me and knows I know my body..Haven't seen a heart doctor since 6 months post Maze surgery.
I also check out the MAZE site every night or every other night...Hope someday I'll have something to share with someone to make them feel a little better...
