Help! Time to discontinue Coumadin?

I am now 5 months post maze, and maintaining NSR. I discontinued Norpace about 4 weeks ago, and discontinued Coumadin 2 weeks ago. Since I took myself off these drugs, I started second guessing myself for stopping Coumadin and have become worried that I may develop a clot. My question is, should I have an echo or anything else done to confirm it is safe to withdraw Coumadin? Should I possibly start Coumadin again till I see my local Cardiologist in two weeks? I am concerned I may have made a bad decision to discontinue Coumadin and have put myself at risk for a clot. Thanks for your comments!
