Troy,
Last week the cardiologist stopped the last drug that I was taking - Coumadin. But he told me to take one Enteric Coated Aspirin, 325 mg, with food, for the rest of my life.
A friend of mine, at least 10 years younger than I and not overweight, just had a stroke. He will be in a Rehab Hospital for 2 months. When I talked to him on the phone, he sounded like he had aged overnight and quite depressed. This shook me up so I will take the Aspirins faithfully.
