Do you know what kind of SVT the docs think you are having, because from my understandig the problem with this is the rate, and can be treated usually with beta-blocker or a calcium channel blocker. I also know from personal experience these can be ablated too. Also these episodes are usually well stopped with different val-salva maneveurs-(sp?), like bearing down like attempting to move your bowels, massaging the carotid artery in your neck-only ONE side at a time, or finally I actually had a doc tell me to stick my head in a sink or bucket of ice water.
