post-op update.

I took Dale to his Heart Docter today, and He can now DRIVE!!!!!! No more backseat driving!!! His heart doctor said that the pain he had been having was unusual, but everybody has different reactions to the open-heart surgery. His heart is in good SNR, his blood pressure is great, and he still has some pain, but nothing like the first 3 weeks. Dr. Castle felt like it was bone, muscular, and scar-tissue pain all at once. He said his energy level will come back as time goes on---he said it is time to "push" himself, an get busy on the exercise routine. I think he felt better after he saw Dr. Castle as they have been friends as well as patient and doctor. It was a beautiful day today in Cleveland, and he went for a nice walk, and DROVE to the bank. He was tired when he got home, but not nearly as bad as before. His surgery was exactly one month today, and he is real happy that it is behind him!!! Lee Finley wife of Dale R.
