Well, its been one month today since my maze at Texas Heart Institute. I continue to be in NSR and the
skipped beats I was experiencing when I first got home have diminished greatly. Now I only notice them
occasionally. I'm walking 1.5 miles per day, which takes me about 40-45 minutes. This seems to be
about the right pace for me right now. I am 61 years old and was not a runner or aerobic exerciser before
surgery. I'm feeling better and stronger every day. My heart rate is still high, about 100 bpm. I started
taking an iron supplement for my anemia about 10 days ago, so maybe that will help. The only meds I'm
on are coumadin and the iron. I feel I am on the road to recovery and am getting excited about a future
without afib. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support.
