Hi! My name is Bill Bullard. I had problems with AF for approx. 20+ years. I went through every possible medication and the AF kept reoccurring. I lived through 15 cardioversion, so many that nurses called me SPARKY! Have you had problems with AF that have not been addressed yet? Dr. James L. Cox performed my MAZE procedure on Jan 15,1999 at Georgetown University Medical Center. He has since retired, but I have the address of the Case Nurse that worked with him and would be more than happy to forward it to anyone who is interested. It has been three years since the maze operation and I am completely free of AF, no meds and just an occasional PVC. I take an asprin daily just as a precaution for stroke, but that is my decision to do so. My Dr. prescribes no meds for me. Give me a response if you still have the problem, I would like to discuss my procedure and relate my experience.
