When I go into afib - I just stay in it.
Electro cardio-version isn't effective but my cardiologist got me back into rythm with some drugs.
To maintain rythm I use cordorone and this was successful for 2 years.
But, I went back into afib 2-3 weeks ago. Now I'm on the blood thinners in preparation to going into hospital to use drugs to go back to rythm. Also, the cordorone keeps the rate down.
I've talked about the maze procedure with my cardiologist but he won't recommend it. I live in Luxembourg and I have the impression that the maze is mainly a US thing. Am I right?
