Sheena, could I ask a question? I have friend that is poss. going to need a arotic valve replacement. He has dicussed with the physican about having a mechanical or Cryolife bio-graft. The bio-graft would not require him to take coumidin. The Cryolife Co. garrentees the bio-graft for 10 yrs. He is also fearful of the noise the mechanicl valve will make.

Did you have a choice? Does the mechanial valve make any noise your awear of?
