TC:

In my opinion you are definetly rushing it...I had my maze on 8/8/00 at the CC (Dr. McCarthy)...I was in the hospital for 12 days because they couldnt get me under control post-op. I was discharged on rhythmol and was slowly moved off it by my cardio over the next year. I have had no a-fib since discharge, but had many of the symptoms that you desrbie. IN fact, I wore a monitor (for a month) nine months post-op because I was really troubled by the rapid/irreg patterns, esp. with exercise ...turns out they were PVCs and which faded away over time as my heart healed..Give yourself time and dont lose hope! My best to you, Pat
