I thought you were going to have the Maze procedure back in July. I remember that you had talked to a Maze surgeon and he said that you were a perfect candidate, isn't that right? Or maybe I have my stories mixed up. What happened? My husband was young also when he started having problems. As you can see if you read back, his cardiologist also told us that it was to invasive of a procedure for just "a little Afib." That is such a slap in the face when it totally changes your life. Have you considered changing cardiologist if yours will just not refer you? Or as most of us have done is to self refer to the Maze surgeons. Anyway I am just curious as to what happened and why you did not have the Maze earlier, wasn't it already scheduled? Hope you find help soon.
