Greetings! Wow, I am not a big poster, but feeling rather frustrated here. After much consideration and advice from a couple people I have a lot of respect for, I would like to ask a favor. Since my cardiologist is seemingly a bit uneducated regarding the MAZE procedure, I am wondering if any of you successful or unsuccessful MAZE'rs would mind sending him a little note? His e-mail address is on his business cards and is also given out by his office, so I don't believe there are any legal ramifications involved. I would ask that you not mention my name, per se ... but if it is necessary, that's ok too. I know that he is interested in learning about the MAZE, I just don't think he is going to be doing that any time soon.

Possibly jot him a note regarding your experiences before, during and after the MAZE? Could you educate or inform him, as he is a cardiologist whom I assume would like to be aware of cardiology issues.

I am not trying to be a stinker. :] I do know he would like to learn more ... however, he did not ask me to solicit this information on his behalf. I think if he is more aware of the in's and out's of the MAZE procedure, he may be more apt to consider it for his patients. By the way, he has recently opened the first electrophysiology office in the area. Progress!

Any feedback is welcome. I honestly beg of you to drop him a line. The address is: avnode@hotmail.com His name is Dr. Jeffrey Rose. If you would prefer, I can provide an address for his snail mail box - just let me know. Hey Ed, do you still have that article about your post-MAZE running? I have moved and can't for the life of me find it. Would you mind sending a copy to me or this guy?

Any effort is HUGELY APPRECIATED!

With much gratitude and respect,
Angie Strand, 27
