I think I was told not to drive for 6 weeks. I felt great after 2-3 weeks and did some short trips. Then I did a two hour round trip. Ouch!!!
As I sat back moaning and reflecting, it hit me that holding on to, pushing and turning that wheel takes a lot more muscles than we ever think about. Gentle and subtle, but after a few hours, like having done quite a few pushups - which I wasn't ready for.
