Hans, I continue to find (as predicted by Steve Giddings and Anders) that I have to warm up for a few minutes before trying to exercise hard. I think that the heart with its scars needs to loosen up a little. This should continue to diminish over the next year but at 8 months (for me), it's still there. On the running, I still can't get much speed. Again, I think it's the heart with its scars limiting the oxygen uptake. I can run for distance but not speed. I am trying to push this to increase my speed but it's only coming very slowly.

At three months, I would guess you are on your own as to your exercise program. The surgeons (Drs. Cox and McCarthy) would feel that all of the healing has taken place by now and your body just needs to come back. Pace yourself at a level that feels comfortable to you and slowly increase over time.

I still get PAC's whenever I'm tired. I never had these before surgery so I think it's something I'll always have although their frequency will probably continue to diminish.

I was wondering why you were still on Coumidin as you're in NSR. Anyway, best of luck.
