Jackie I have been in NSR for one week following my maze on 8/28/01. Let me tell you that NSR is a revelation and in spite of recent open chest surgery I feel better than I have for years. The future is full of opportunities. I am more alert and just a better person. When you have internal alarms going off you tend to become inwardly focused and to have less time for others. So if the maze is a low risk for your husband given his health situation I'd say go for it. For my story goto to http://thestatus.com click on visit a patient page enter jenkins for patient ID and post-kansas for the password. You have my very best wishes.
